Farm to Food Bank

Farm to Food Bank Program

Formerly known as our Harvesting and Gleaning program, we partner with farms in the NW Valley in order to provide fresh and local produce to our food bank customers. If farmers have an abundance of a crop, damaged/ugly produce, or are about to turn over their field, our food bank volunteers go out to the farm and harvest whatever we can to take back to the food bank to put in our free grocery store, or transform into a nutritious meal in our Community Kitchen.
